StudioVisit – Open Studios Festival is a new format for presenting contemporary art in Poznań, bringing the experience of encountering art directly from galleries into the spaces where it is created – artists’ studios.

Over three days, the public will be invited to visit the studios of 31 artists working across generations, approaches, and media—from painting and sculpture, through installation and printmaking, to photography and interdisciplinary practices. Visits will be possible individually or as part of guided walks led by Agata Rodriguez. The festival showcases the diversity of the local art scene, offering a unique opportunity to experience art up close, in its natural context.

StudioVisit:
• increases access to contemporary art, breaking down barriers and distancing in its reception,
• invites audiences to observe artistic processes and engage in direct conversations with artists,
• supports local artists by enhancing their visibility and professional development,
• creates a space for exchange and relationship-building between artists, audiences, and institutions,
• operates in a sustainable and ecological way – all events take place directly in studios, without the need to produce additional infrastructure.

The festival also has a long-term dimension. Its integral components include:
• an online platform documenting the event and developed as an open-access resource on the Poznań art scene,
• a thematic exhibition at the Rodriguez Foundation presenting three selected artists in a professional gallery context, developed in collaboration with the Curatorial Studio 2026,
• a panel discussion dedicated to the needs and challenges of the artistic community in Poznań.

StudioVisit Festival creates conditions for encounters between art, artists, and audiences, strengthening the presence and accessibility of art within the urban landscape.

The festival is organised by the Rodriguez Foundation.
